Have all the players sit in a circle. Your players will be naming places they wish to visit. The first player names a place that starts with A, such as Australia. The second person needs to say the name of a place that begins with R. If they do not, they are out of the game. The next player then says a place that begins with R – maybe Rome. The third player must name a place that begins with O – Ohio will work. Eventually, everyone catches on to what is happening in the game, although it might take one or two rounds depending upon the size of your group. There really is no winner or loser; this is just a fun game.

Even though he’s in the lineup, it remains to be seen if Ohtani is at the full extent of his capabilities. But either way, the Dodgers are in a great position in this Series. Both games at Dodger Stadium came down to a bases-loaded situation, and they both ended with an L.A. victory. Now, the Dodgers are just two wins away from their second World Series title in the last five years and their first in a full season since 1988.

Gavin Lux walked against losing pitcher Jake Cousins with one out in the bottom of the 10th and went to second on Edman’s infield single to second. Defensive replacement Oswaldo Cabrera knocked down the ball with his glove but it leaked into the outfield.
Ohtani suffered a left shoulder subluxation in the seventh inning of the Dodgers’ 4-2 victory in Game 2 on Saturday night when he slid into second on an unsuccessful steal attempt. The injury looked bad, but Ohtani is officially in the lineup for Game 3.
Game 1 featured starting pitchers Jack Flaherty for the Dodgers and Gerrit Cole for the Yankees. Country singer Brad Paisley performed “The Star-Spangled Banner”. In tribute to Fernando Valenzuela, his former Dodger teammates Orel Hershiser and Steve Yeager placed a ball on the blue No. 34 painted on the pitcher’s mound instead of throwing out a ceremonial first pitch.
After being limited by Flaherty in Game 1, the Yankees’ offense started very quickly in Game 5, scoring the first runs for the first time in the series. In the bottom of the first inning, Juan Soto drew a walk, which was followed by a first-pitch two-run home run by Aaron Judge and a solo home run by Jazz Chisholm Jr. to give the Yankees an early 3–0 advantage. In the bottom of the second, Anthony Volpe hit a double and scored on an RBI single by Alex Verdugo, extending the Yankees’ lead to 4–0, and chasing Flaherty from the game after just four outs. Giancarlo Stanton led off the third inning with a first-pitch solo home run off Ryan Brasier, pushing the Yankees’ lead to 5–0. Through four innings, Cole held the Dodgers hitless and allowed just two walks.
When is game 1 of the world series
As Soto and Ohtani continue to shine, their teams are also helped by other stars, such as NY’s Aaron Judge and the Dodgers’ Mookie Betts. LA infielder Tommy Edman is also getting hot at the right time, having just won NLCS MVP.
It’s been an impressive few weeks of professional sports in New York City. The New York Liberty won its first WNBA championship, and a ticker-tape parade was held in Manhattan on Thursday to celebrate.

Two innings later, it could have been Ohtani again or Betts or anyone, really, in the Dodgers’ top-to-bottom scary lineup. That it was Freeman, the 35-year-old first baseman, was as exceptional a denouement as imaginable.
The Yankees have 27 World Series wins under their belts — the most of any MLB team — to the Dodgers’ 7 wins, the most recent of which was in 2020. The Yankees have not taken home a World Series since 2009.
