Palworld was released on January 19, 2024, through Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview, and is available with Game Pass from day one. The game is expected to remain in early access until at least 2025. Planned features for future updates include PvP modes, guild raids, and cross-server Pal trading. On June 10, 2024, it was announced that the game would be released in early access for macOS later that year. On June 24, 2024, it was teased to be released on PlayStation 5. Pocketpair announced the first major expansion to be released on June 27, 2024, which includes new Pals, a new island called Sakurajima, and other new content. On September 25, 2024, the PlayStation 5 version of the game was released.

The Yankees did not go out without a fight, though. After Giancarlo Stanton drove in Juan Soto with an RBI single that struck the third base bag, the next two hitters reached to load the bases with one out. Dodgers closer Blake Treinen struck out Anthony Volpe, then Alex Vesia came in and retired Jose Trevino on one pitch to escape the jam and secure the win.
Though the Yankees struck back with a Juan Soto solo shot — the lone mistake from Yamamoto — in the top of the third, the game wasn’t knotted for long. In the bottom of the third, the loaded Dodgers lineup feasted on Rodón fastballs to mount a two-out rally.

The Dodgers also set the record for most runs to come from behind from in a clinching game. The World Series MVP Award went to Freeman, the first player to homer in the first four games of a World Series and whose 12 RBIs tied the World Series record set in 1960 by Bobby Richardson. Freeman became the 12th player to win regular season MVP and World Series MVP in a career.
Fat Joe performed “New York” and “All the Way Up” prior to Game 3. New York native Leslie Odom Jr. sang the national anthem and Derek Jeter threw the ceremonial first pitch. Joe’s performance was mostly panned by fans on social media. Clarke Schmidt was the starting pitcher for the Yankees and Walker Buehler for the Dodgers.
